The adult female lays eggs in the soil in an egg sac (pouch)


          After a few days the eggs hatch into Nymphs

          After several changes / moulting, the nymph develops wings

          and becomes a fully adult.



         Difference between Incomplete and complete metamorphosis

         Examples of insects which undergo incomplete metamorpho-

         sis;


         Cockroach, grasshopper, bedbugs, termites, preying mantis,

         walking stick, katydids, damselflies, dragonflies, white ants,

         fleas, aphids, etc.
