Signs and symptoms of fowl typhoid.


             White yellowish or green yellowish diarrhoea.

             Pale wattle

             Ruffled feathers

             Birds fold their heads close the body

             The liver, kidney and spleen may become enlarged.

             The comb or the wattle gets shrunken and pale yellow.


           Prevention and control of fowl typhoid


             Cull the infected birds.

             Keep the poultry house clean.

             Regular vaccination.


             Kill and burry the infected birds
