Man made Changes in the environment

These are changes caused by people and they can be con-

trolled

Examples of people-made changes

 Afforestation and deforestation

 Building infrastructure (buildings, roads, etc)

 Bush burning
 Land reclamation

 Extraction of minerals

 Clearing of vegetation

 Overfishing in water bodies

 Changing land for agricultural use.
