Growing Crops
A garden is a piece of land or space used to grow plants for food or
any other reason for home or private consumption.
A farm on the other hand is the growing of plants (crops) for com-
mercial purpose and usually on a large scale.
Crop or Plant?
Although all the crops are plants but not all plants can be consid-
ered as crops. A crop is the seasonal yield of any plant that is grown
in significant quantities to be harvested as food, or commercial
purpose. Whereas not all plants can be food or have commercial
use.
Gardens can be used to grow any plant (crop or not) while farms
are used to grow crops and livestock.
