Poultry Keeping







        Poultry Keeping is the process of raising domesti-

        cated birds for commercial or food purposes.



        Or: Poultry keeping is the rearing and manage-

        ment of domestic birds.




         Common examples of domestic birds;



         Chicken | Turkeys | Ducks | Geese | Guinea Fowl | Pi-

         geons | Quails















































         Poultry are farmed in large numbers with chicken being the most


         common in Uganda
