There are various ways of cattle management on a farm. These

include;

Numbering, Dehorning/Disbudding, Hoof trimming. Castra-

tion, Dehorning, Spraying, Dipping and Dusting.

NUMBERING

This means putting a mark or label on the body of animals.

Numbering enables farmers to identify animals easily.

Ways of numbering

1. Ear notching
