Paddocks break the life cycle of ticks.
It gives grass time to grow back.
It controls overgrazing.
Disadvantages
Paddocking requires a big piece of land
Fencing paddocks is expensive
2. Strip Grazing
This means grazing animals on small plots separated by a tem-
porary wire.
The wire sometimes carries low current (electricity) that con-
trols the movement of animals in selected pasture areas
(strips).
Animals graze in one strip at a time until they have gone
through the pasture and back to the first strip.
