Report suspected anthrax cases to the veterinary authorities
as soon as possible
2. Mastitis.
It is an infectious disease caused by bacteria.
It affects the mammary glands of mammals like cattle buffa-
loes, sheep, goats bitch woman etc.
Signs and symptoms
Swollen udder and teats
Milk contains pus, blood and turns watery or clots
Death may result if not treated
The affected udder quarter dies and gives no milk Note:
mastitis can be detected by the use of a strip cup
