Water

Water helps people to get the following form of energy. Water

energy resources include hydroelectric power from lakes and

rivers, ocean energy in its various forms.

Hydro Electric Power

It is the form of electricity produced by the power of running

water at a fall. Hydro electric power is produced with moving

water

When waterfalls at a greater height, potential energy is

changed to kinetic energy. Kinetic energy turns the turbines

connected to a generator with powerful magnetic field and a

coil of wire turning it.

At hydropower plants water flows through a pipe, or pen-

stock, then pushes against and turns blades in a turbine to

spin a generator to produce electricity
