These are crops that store food in their roots. They are also
called root tubers.
Examples; Cassava, sweet potatoes, carrots
Propagation
Plant propagation is the process of creating new plants from
a variety of sources: seeds, cuttings and other plant parts.
Plant propagation is the artificial or natural dispersal of
plants.
Methods of propagation
1. Stems Cuttings
Various types of plants are propagated by stem cuttings. E.g.
sweet potato, cassava, carrots
