Piggery is the keeping of pigs
Reasons for keeping pigs

 Pigs are kept for its products such as pork, bacon, harm and
lard product for food

 Pigs are a source of income when sold
 Some people keep pigs as pets

 It is cheaper to raise pigs and related costs compared alter-
natives such as cattle

 Pigs can eat most things; pastures as well as kitchen scrabs

Uses of pigs

 Pigs provide pork

 Pigs provide lard

 Hair from pigs is used to make brushes

 People sell pig products and get money.

 Pigs provide manure for farms

4. Wild pigs commonly called warthogs
