There are two instruments used
1. The measuring cylinder.
2. The overflow can (Eureka can)

This method is called the displacement method because irreg-
ular object displaces the amount of water equal to its volume.
Density
Density is mass per unit volume. The density of an object is
found after knowing its mass and its volume. The formula for
finding density is;
Density (D) = Mass/Volume
This means that; Mass = Density x Volume, Volume =
Mass/Volume
The units for density are grams per cubic units [ g/cm ]
