How are animals used as resources?

 Some animals like merino sheep provide wool, used to make

cloths, suits, blankets, carpets, curtains, bed sheets etc.

 Silk worms provide silk used to make different types of

cloths.

 Some domestic animals provide skins and hides used to

make bags, shoes, belts, etc

 Cattle provide horns and hooves used to make glue.

 Bees help to pollinate farmers’ crops, provide honey and bee

wax.

 Some animals like oxen and donkeys provide labour.
