Categories of snake
Snakes are grouped into three main groups namely;
1. Non-poisonous snakes
2. Poisonous snakes
1. Poisonous Snakes
Venomous or poisonous snakes are those that are capable of
producing venom, which they use for killing prey, for defense,
and to assist with digestion of their prey
They have two long teeth called fangs near the front of the
mouth to inject venom.
Example of poisonous snakes; the Cobra (white bite /spit poi-
son), puff udder, mamba, viper
