Importance of reptiles to man

1. Many of them are tourist attractions and earn Uganda good

income.
2. They have good skins which is for making drums, belts, tro-

phies and shoes.

3. Some reptiles like geckos and lizards help to eat disease vec-

tors like mosquitoes in the house.

4. Their skins can be sold to get income.

5. They are sources of food to man, e.g. some Asians eat snakes.

6. They are used for study and research
