          2. Ticks
           They live on the skin of animals
           They feed on blood
           They spread many diseases in domestic animals e.g. East
              coast fever, red water, heart water, and typhus fever in hu-
              mans.
          Tick borne diseases can be controlled on the farm by:
          1. Dipping and spraying the animals with respective pesti-
              cides.
          2. Grazing animals on new pasture.
          3. By double fencing (best method).
