I. Water evaporates into the air.
The sun heats up water on land, and in rivers, lakes and seas
and turns it into water vapour. The water vapour rises into
the air.
II. Water vapour condenses into clouds
Water vapour in the air cools down and changes back into ti-
ny drops of liquid water, forming clouds.
III.Water falls as rain.
The clouds get heavy and water falls back to the earth in the
form of rain or snow.
IV.Water returns to the sea
Rain water runs over the land and collects in lakes or rivers,
which take it back to the sea. The cycle starts all over again.
Briefly
I. Melting Is the process by which solid change into liquids (ice
changes into water)
II. Evaporation Is the process by which a liquid change into gas.
(Water changes into steam
III.Freezing Is the process by which liquids change into solids
(water changes into ice
IV.Condensation Is the process by which a gas changes into a
liquid (steam changes into water)
V . Sublimation Is the change of state from solid to gas or gas to
solid.
