Coccidiosis




           Coccidiosis is an intestinal disease that occurs when a

           microscopic parasitic organism (called a protozoa) attaches

           itself to the intestinal lining of a chicken

           Signs

             Blood stained droppings/diarrhoea

             Ruffled feathers

             Dullness and dropping of wings

             loss of appetite

             loss of yellow color in shanks

             pale combs and wattles

             unthrifty feathers

             huddling or acting chilled
