Tropism
This is the growth movement of plants to response to a stimu-
lus (singular) stimuli (plural).
It is the plant response towards stimuli
A stimulus
Is defined as any change in the environment to which the plant
is sensitive to the type of stimulus involved
There are five different kinds of tropisms. Namely.
1. Phototropism
2. Geotropism
3. Hydrotropism
4. Thigmotropism/haptotropism
5. Chemotropism
