Germination is the development of a seed into a seedling.
Types of germination
1. Epigeal germination
2. Hypogeal germination
1. Epigeal Germination
The type of germination where the cotyledons come above the
ground level. It occurs in all legumes. E.g. beans, peas, G.nuts,
etc. It’s common with dicotyledonous seeds.
