FUNGI
Fungi are any of a group of spore-producing organ-
isms feeding on organic matter, including
moulds, yeast, mushrooms, and toadstools.
Fungi are living organisms which feed
on dead decaying matter (saprophytes)
They grow in moistened places
Their bodies are made up of branched threads
called hyphae
The hyphae make their bodies called Mycelium
Most fungi reproduce by means of spores
Examples of fungi
Mushroom, Toad stools, Puff ball, Yeast , Moulds
