Harmful bacteria

1. They cause diseases to plants, man and animals which can

lead to death

2. They make food to go bad.

3. Bacteria release toxins in food causing food poisoning

4. Reduction of Soil fertility: Denitrifying bacteria convert soil
nitrates and ammonia into free nitrogen and thus reduce the

soil fertility.
