Prevention

           Green leafy vegetables, such as spinach, mustard greens,

            parsley and green leaf lettuce.

           Vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower, and cabbage.

           Fish, liver, meat, eggs, and cereals (these contain smaller

            amounts)

           Do NOT use antibiotic drugs unnecessarily because they kill

            useful bacteria in the intestines. These bacteria help make

            vitamin K among other things.
