Different living things produce sound in different ways:
Mammals produce sound by the vibration of their vocal
cords in the larynx. In addition to this, humans change the
tongue and the lips to modify the sound.
Birds sing by the help of their rings of cartilage.
Bees and mosquitoes produce sound by flapping their wings
rapidly.
Crickets produce sound by rubbing their wings against the
hind legs.
MUSICAL TOOLS
All musical instruments are materials used to produce
sound.
