3. String instruments (chordophones)
These produce sound by vibration of their strings when
plucked.
The pitch of sound in string instruments can be increased by
loosening or tightening the strings
Strings of a bow harp have different lengths to produce differ-
ent pitch of sound..
Examples of such instruments;
Guitar, tube fiddle, lyre, a harp, violin.
