Blood Diseases
Anaemia—Anaemia is caused due to lack of iron in one’s diet.
Iron helps in the formation of haemoglobin which easily combines
with the oxygen in the red blood cells.
Sickle cell anaemia —is a condition when one’s red blood cells are
single celled and therefore unable to carry enough oxygen around the
body.
Haemophilia— is condition in which one’s blood is unable to clot
in case of an injury.
Leukaemia— is blood cancer which makes the number of white
blood cells abnormally higher.
Malaria—is caused by plasmodia germs spread by female anopheles
mosquito. These commonly attack and destroy the red blood cells.
