HIV / AIDS and the blood

AIDS stands for:

A - Acquired (means from)

I - Immune (means protected against)

D - Deficiency (means lack of)

S - Syndrome (means a combination of signs and symptoms)

HIV stands for:

H- Human | I - Immuno-deficiency | V - Virus

AIDS is caused by HIV. The Virus destroys the white blood cells

in the body. The body becomes weak and cannot fight disease
germs.
