Flowers



         A flower is a reproductive part of a plant.

         It’s a part of the shoot system of a plant in which reproductive

         cells (gametes) are produced


         The main function of a flower is to produce fruits and seeds



         The external structure of a flower is made up of;


         1. Petals


         2. Sepals

         3. Receptacle


         4. Flower stalk


         In some flowers we have the epicalyx below the calyx (sepals)
