Advantages of breast feeding to a mother

 Breast feeding is cheap to the family and mother in terms of

expenditure

 Breast feeding is time saving, convenient and available

whenever the baby needs it.

 Breast feeding encourages the mother to eat well, this im-

proves her health.

 During lactation, menstruation ceases, this de-

lays the next pregnancy
