Bottle feeding

         The practice of feeding an infant with a substitute for breast

         milk. E.g. cow’s milk or powdered milk.







































         Disadvantages of bottle feeding

          Bottles can easily be contaminated the milk

                     Bottles are difficult to clean

                     Powdered milk is time consuming and difficult to pre-

                      pare

                           Cow’s or tinned powdered milk is expensive to

                           buy

                            Some cow’s milk or powdered milk may be dilut-

                            ed so much causing milk lack complete diet.

                             Powdered milk is preserved with chemicals that

                            may have health consequences later in life

                             Baby may get digestion problems.

                             Bottle-fed babies tend to have more health prob-

                            lems than breastfed ones
